Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring efficient kitchen operations. Your expertise in food preparation and cooking will contribute directly to the satisfaction of our guests and the overall success of our restaurant.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure timely delivery of orders by coordinating with the front-of-house team
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout your shift
- Adhere to restaurant standards for presentation, portion control, and ingredient freshness
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment as a line cook
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling safety practices
- Experience with meal preparation for large orders while maintaining quality standards
- Familiarity with serving protocols and customer service expectations in a restaurant setting
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of the food industry’s best practices for cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards
