Experienced Sales Representative – Jensen Trailers

About Us

Jensen Trailer Sales and Service has proudly served Durham Region and customers across Ontario for over 30 years. We specialize in steel, aluminum, and galvanized trailers, including enclosed cargo trailers, utility trailers, dump trailers, equipment trailers, car haulers, and more.

We also operate a full service and collision repair facility staffed by licensed technicians who service all trailer makes and models.

We’re looking for an experienced salesperson to join our close knit, hardworking team. If you know how to build relationships, follow up with customers, and close sales, we’d like to hear from you.

About the Role

You’ll help customers find the right trailer for their needs and guide them through the purchasing process from the first conversation to delivery.

The right person will be confident, approachable, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of their leads. Previous sales experience and a valid OMVIC salesperson registration are required. Experience selling trailers, vehicles, RVs, or equipment is an asset.

High performing sales representatives have the potential to earn well over $100,000 annually.

Responsibilities

- Assist customers in person, over the phone, and through email
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable trailers and options
- Explain trailer features, specifications, pricing, and available options
- Prepare quotes, handle customer questions, and close sales




- Follow up consistently with new leads and outstanding quotes
- Maintain accurate customer records using dealership CRM tools
- Complete sales paperwork accurately and promptly
- Coordinate with the parts and service teams to help ensure trailers are ready for customer pickup
- Build lasting customer relationships and generate repeat and referral business

Qualifications

- Valid OMVIC salesperson registration required
- Previous sales experience with a demonstrated ability to close sales required
- Strong sales, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Clear communication and good listening skills
- Reliable, self motivated, and comfortable working as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple leads and follow through on commitments
- Comfortable using computers, email, and CRM software
- Knowledge of trailers and towing equipment considered an asset
- Knowledge of SERTI/MERLIN considered an asset
- High school diploma or equivalent required
