Duties
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero to record and maintain financial transactions accurately
- Perform bank reconciliations to verify account balances and identify discrepancies promptly
- Assist with account reconciliation and account analysis to ensure financial records are precise and up-to-date
- Support payroll processing activities, including data entry and verification of employee hours and deductions
- Maintain organized bookkeeping records, supporting audits and financial reporting requirements
- Prepare budget reports and assist in monitoring expenditure against budgets to support financial planning
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial processes
- Experience with payroll management and related software tools
- Ability to perform account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis with precision
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and vendors
- Knowledge of budgeting processes to assist in financial planning activities
