We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fit Model to join our dynamic design team. As a Fit Model, you will play a crucial role in the development and refinement of our apparel collections by providing accurate body measurements and feedback on fit, comfort, and overall design. Your insights will help ensure that our garments meet the highest standards of quality and style, translating creative visions into wearable realities.

This paid position offers an exciting prospect to collaborate closely with designers, pattern makers, and technical teams to bring innovative fashion concepts to life.

Duties

- Act as a live fitting sample for new clothing designs, providing precise body measurements and feedback on fit, silhouette, and comfort.
- Collaborate with designers and pattern makers during sample fittings to identify necessary adjustments for optimal fit and style.
- Maintain consistent body measurements according to specified sizing standards to ensure uniformity across collections.
- Participate in multiple fitting sessions, offering constructive input on fabric behavior, ease, and overall garment construction.
- Document fitting notes meticulously to communicate necessary alterations or improvements for production.
- Assist in testing prototypes for movement, wearability, and aesthetic appeal across various styles and fabrics.




- Support the development of size specifications by providing accurate measurements and fit feedback aligned with brand standards.

Qualifications

- Proven experience or background in fashion design, visual arts painting, or related fields such as graphic design or digital design.
- Strong understanding of body measurements, sizing standards, and garment construction principles.
- Familiarity with digital design tools including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of motion graphics, 3D animation (Maya), CAD software (SketchUp), HTML/CSS is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate fit feedback clearly and effectively during fittings.
- Ability to stand comfortably for extended periods during fittings; attention to detail is essential.
- Passion for fashion design, visual arts painting, or construction painting is highly desirable.
