Job Overview

Looking for a temporary flagger for approximately two weeks of roadside work. Your energetic presence and explicit communication will direct vehicles and pedestrians, safeguarding workers and the public alike.

Responsibilities

- Direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic safely around active zones using standardized hand signals and signage
- Communicate clearly with drivers, pedestrians, and team members to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Set up and maintain traffic control devices such as cones, barriers, signs, and flagging stations in accordance with safety regulations
- Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately to supervisors and document occurrences accurately

Skills

- Excellent communication skills to effectively manage traffic flow and coordinate with team members
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, often outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely while maintaining a proactive approach to safety
