About ReclaimLLM

ReclaimLLM or RCLM (reclaimllm.com) is the enterprise AI data security and session observability platform for modern developer teams. AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI) have become core infrastructure, but the intellectual output—debugging sessions, architecture decisions, and code generation—vanishes into ephemeral chat histories and unlogged API calls.

RCLM captures every interaction across proxies, native CLI hooks, and browser extensions into a unified, searchable, and governed control plane. With features like context compression, DLP secret redaction, and cost attribution, RCLM turns fleeting AI interactions into a reusable, auditable organizational asset.

Role Overview

As an early-career Forward Deployment Engineer (FDE), you will sit at the intersection of customer engineering, product integration, and customer success. You will work directly with early adopters and enterprise engineering teams to deploy ReclaimLLM into their developer environments, VPCs, and workflows.

You don’t need prior startup experience—what matters is high technical curiosity, foundational strength in Python, and an eagerness to learn quick, take ownership, and build in an early-stage environment.

What You’ll Do

- Customer Deployments & Onboarding: Help engineering teams roll out RCLM across developer machines (pip install rclm, native hooks) and VPC/self-hosted environments.
- Python Integration & Scripting: Write Python scripts, SDK examples, API integrations, and troubleshooting utilities to adapt RCLM to varied customer tech stacks and developer workflows.
- Hands-On Troubleshooting: Debug environment-specific setup issues, API proxy network routing, CLI hook configurations, and secret/DLP edge cases alongside customer engineers.
- Product Feedback Loop: Be the eyes and ears on the ground. Translate deployment friction and customer feature requests directly into bug fixes, documentation improvements, and backend product enhancements.
- Documentation & Recipes:

Write clear integration guides, reference setups, and deployment playbooks for common setups (Docker, Helm, local developer environments, CI pipelines).

What We’re Looking For

- Python Foundation: Practical experience writing clean, readable Python (e.g., through internships, personal/open-source projects, or professional work). Familiarity with standard libraries, virtual environments, package management (pip, uv), and REST/API basics.
- Eagerness to Learn & Startup Mindset: You don’t need previous startup experience, but you should be excited by the prospect of joining an early-stage team:
- High agency and comfort with ambiguity (ready to dig in and figure things out).
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset when faced with unfamiliar systems or bugs.
- A genuine appetite for rapid skill growth across backend, DevOps, and customer-facing engineering.
- Strong Technical Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to fellow developers and write concise, user-friendly documentation.
- Developer Empathy: A genuine interest in developer tools and how software engineers work day-to-day.

Nice to Haves (Not Required)

- Familiarity with AI developer tools and agents (Claude Code, Cursor, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, Gemini CLI).
- Basic exposure to containerization (Docker) and cloud/VPC fundamentals (AWS, GCP, Linux shell environments).
- Experience with modern Python backend frameworks like FastAPI or Pydantic.
- Familiarity with Git workflows, full-text search, or database basics (PostgreSQL/Supabase).

Why Join ReclaimLLM?

- Accelerated Growth: You will wear multiple hats, work directly with founding engineers, and gain in-depth experience across customer architecture, backend services, and DevOps.
- Frontier of AI Infrastructure: Work on real-world developer problems at the cutting edge of AI agents, context engineering, and AI governance.
- High Ownership: Your work directly impacts how customers adopt and experience the product from day one.

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Benefits
