The Camp

Director role demands an independent, action-oriented leader who brings innovation and vision to camp operations. You'll enhance outdoor education and recreational programs that align with YMCA values, while fostering an inclusive and supportive camp environment. As the year-round camp leader, you will also cultivate meaningful relationships with staff, campers, and the broader community to enhance visibility and enrollment. Key Responsibilities:

- Design and evaluate high-quality outdoor education programs
- Champion inclusive and protected programming for all campers




- Recruit and train seasonal staff to build a strong culture
- Oversee camp budgets, registration, and operations
- Engage with families and community partners to boost camp impact Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in recreation or education
- Minimum three years in operational leadership
- Proven experience with youth-oriented outdoor programming
- Strong organizational and Microsoft Office skills
- Availability to reside onsite from April to October Empower young campers and drive community impact as you lead the Big Cove YMCA Camp.
