Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Contractor to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As a key leader on our team, you will coordinate all aspects of construction activities, manage subcontractors and vendors, and maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders.

Your expertise in construction management, project planning, and technical skills will drive successful project outcomes while fostering a secure and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and specifications
- Review blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to develop accurate project estimates and schedules
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, and HeavyBid to monitor progress, manage resources, and control costs
- Oversee procurement processes including bidding, subcontractor selection, and contract negotiations
- Supervise in office activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, clients, and stakeholders to resolve issues promptly and keep projects on track




- Maintain detailed documentation including daily reports, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and project logs

Requirements

- Proven experience in construction management or as a general contractor with a strong background in heavy civil or commercial projects
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings
- Familiarity with construction estimating tools and software such as Bluebeam, Civil 3D, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, or similar platforms
- Extensive knowledge of construction management software including ProCore or equivalent systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents accurately
- Strong project management skills with excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively
- Construction experience across various phases including planning, execution, and closeout
- Knowledge of safety protocols and building codes applicable to large-scale projects
