Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment on-site
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing, and setting up necessary supplies
- Support skilled tradespeople by handing tools and materials as needed
- Perform general site cleanup to maintain a safe and tidy work environment
- Carry out basic construction tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials
- Follow safety protocols diligently and report any hazards or incidents immediately
- Help with transportation of materials around the site using manual or powered equipment
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly
- Basic understanding of safety procedures on construction or industrial sites
- Prior experience in manual labour or construction is a plus but not required
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite is preferred
