Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager to lead our retail operations with enthusiasm and strategic vision. Duties

- Develop and implement strategic plans to meet sales targets and operational goals, ensuring continuous growth and profitability.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate store staff through effective training, coaching, and performance management to foster a high-performing team.
- Oversee daily store operations including merchandising, inventory control, purchasing, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to optimize sales efficiency.
- Manage payroll processing, cash handling procedures, and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct recruiting efforts by interviewing candidates, onboarding recent employees, and supporting ongoing staff development initiatives.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by resolving issues promptly and ensuring a welcoming shopping environment.
- Coordinate marketing efforts and promotional activities to attract new customers and retain loyal clients.
- Monitor budgeting processes, pricing strategies,



and sales data to make informed business decisions that enhance store performance.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, store policies, and legal requirements across all operations.

Skills

- Proven experience in retail management with supervising responsibilities that demonstrate leadership capabilities.
- Strong negotiation skills to build vendor relationships and optimize purchasing terms.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse customer bases and team members.
- Expertise in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff to build cohesive teams.
- Proficiency in payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and cash handling procedures.
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques, pricing strategies, marketing initiatives, and POS systems.
- Excellent communication skills paired with phone etiquette for engaging customers and team members professionally.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently through time management practices.
- Experience in supervising retail sales operations including cashiering duties and customer service excellence.
