We are seeking a Full-Time Hairstyling Educator at our Mississauga Campus to help shape the next generation of hairstylists.

Schedule

Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

40 hours per week

About the Role As a Hairstyling Educator, you will help aspiring hairstylists develop their skills, confidence, and professionalism.

You will deliver classroom theory and hands-on practical instruction, mentor students throughout their training, and supervise the student salon as students gain experience working with clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging theoretical and practical hairstyling instruction
- Guide students through cutting, styling, colour theory, formulation, and colour application
- Supervise and support students performing services on clients
- Check and correct students’ cuts, styles,



techniques, and colour formulations
- Provide constructive feedback, coaching, and mentorship
- Monitor student progress and support students in meeting curriculum requirements
- Promote professional salon standards, safety, sanitation, and exceptional client service
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

What We’re Looking For
- Valid Ontario Hairstylist (332A) Certificate of Qualification
- Solid practical skills in cutting, styling, colour theory, formulation, and application
- Strong theoretical knowledge across all areas of the hairstyling trade
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for mentoring and developing future hairstylists
- A professional, dependable approach and the ability to work collaboratively
- Availability to work the full-time schedule listed above
- Previous teaching or training experience is an asset, but is not required
