Responsibilities

- Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, styling, and treatments tailored to each client’s preferences and hair type
- Deliver outstanding customer service by listening carefully to clients’ needs, offering expert advice, and ensuring satisfaction with every visit
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in accordance with health and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and hair treatments to enhance client results and increase sales
- Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, greeting clients warmly, and handling payments efficiently
- Stay current with the latest hair trends, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing education and training




- Foster a positive atmosphere by communicating effectively with clients and team members to ensure a seamless salon experience

Skills

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their styling needs
- Expertise in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, blowouts, perms, and special occasion styles
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures to maintain a hygienic work environment at all times
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while providing honest recommendations based on client needs
- Excellent communication skills for clear consultation, team collaboration, and building rapport with clients
- Experience in retail sales within a salon or beauty setting is preferred but not required
- Competence in managing front desk operations such as appointment scheduling, cash handling, and client check-in/out processes
