Role Overview:

The Mandarin and Cantonese-Speaking Health Care Aides (HCA) and Companion Workers arevital members of Absolute Homecare Solutions Inc., reporting directly to the Care Manager. The HCA and Companion Workers provide hands-on personal care and support to clients, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. They are also responsible for monitoring clients' conditions and promptly reporting any changes to the Care Manager.

This role includes assistance for activity of daily living and medication in accordance with company policy while upholding professional standards and always respecting the dignity, privacy, and autonomy of each client.

AHS operates in Calgary, Edmonton, Chestermere, High River, Banff, and Drumheller.

The selected candidate will start as soon as possible.

Qualifications and Experience:

- For HCAs: Active registration and practice permit as HCA, or ongoing appplication for registration may be considered
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in Romanian or Hungarian
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required

Experience:

- Previous experience in a home care or healthcare setting is an asset
- Familiarity with supporting seniors or clients with complex care needs is a plus
- Experience in providing companionship or emotional support is preferred

Job Types: Part time, Casual Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
