We are currently seeking a compassionate and dependable individual to provide housekeeping duties in the Edmonton South area. We welcome both experienced housekeepers and those who are newer to the field. If you are caring, patient, reliable, and have a genuine passion for supporting others, we would love to hear from you.
Position Details
Location: South Edmonton AB
Hours: Approximately 7 hours per week to start
Schedule:
- Tuesday 8am - 11am and Friday 8am - 12pm
The schedule may be flexible, depending on the right candidate.
About the Role
This position involves assisting with a client’s day-to-day needs, including assisting with cooking, meal preparation, housekeeping, and maintaining a clean and comfortable home environment.
Fluency in Hindi is required for this position, as clear and comfortable communication with the client is an important part of providing personalized care.
Responsibilities
- Assist with housekeeping and maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment
- Assist with preparing and cooking culturally appropriate meals based on the client’s preferences
- Communicate professionally with family members and the Five Pillars Care team
- Complete required documentation accurately and promptly
- Follow all health, safety, and infection prevention protocols
Qualifications
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search required
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and reliable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and confidently in a client’s home
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
