Job Overview

We are a busy family of five seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Housekeeper & Household Assistant to help maintain our home and support day-to-day household needs. The ideal candidate is someone who is enthusiastic about organizing a household, is capable of working independently, and is looking for an ongoing position.

Responsibilities

Housekeeping and Organization

- Perform regular household cleaning, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas.
- Manage laundry, folding, ironing, steaming, putting away and organizing of clothing.
- Change bed linens and maintain household textiles.
- Organize closets, cupboards, pantries and other household spaces.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning products and household supplies.
- Identify tasks requiring attention and proactively maintain the home.

Meal Preparation and Grocery Shopping
- Plan and prepare healthy, balanced family meals for a few dinners in the week.
- Prepare some meals in advance and organized leftovers for convenient use throughout the week.
- Manage grocery lists and complete grocery shopping.
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and pantry.
- Accomodate family food preferences and nutritional goals.

General Household Support
- Run occasional household errands and assist with deliveries.




- Help coordinate household maintenance or service appointments when needed.
- Provide occasional assistance with children or family-related tasks as agreed upon.
- Help establish and maintain efficient household routines.

Requirements

- Dependable, punctual, trustworthy and respectful of family privacy.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work indepedently.
- Valuable communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple household responsibilities efficiently.
- Driver's license.
- References, background checks, criminal record check.
