We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeper Manager to lead our cleaning and custodial teams, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality are maintained across our property. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, coordinate cleaning schedules, and motivate your team to deliver exceptional service that enhances guest experiences. Your leadership will be vital in creating a welcoming, spotless environment that reflects our commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient cleaning operations.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules that meet quality standards and operational needs.
- Train team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and hospitality best practices.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, and facilities to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective usage.
- Address guest requests or concerns promptly, resolving issues to uphold service excellence.
- Foster a positive team environment through motivation, feedback,
and performance evaluations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping roles with a solid understanding of hospitality standards.
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience leading cleaning teams or custodial staff.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to effectively train staff and interact with guests or management.
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness while adhering to safety protocols.
- Nice-to-have skills include hotel experience, familiarity with hospitality industry practices, and relevant certifications in cleaning or safety procedures.
