Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, hallways, and public spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming to keep surfaces spotless and safe.
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning products to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Follow established safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or damage.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the appropriate department promptly.
- Adhere to hotel cleanliness standards and health regulations consistently.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to uphold property standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping within hospitality or industrial settings is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation.
- Previous hotel experience or custodial experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use is a plus.
