We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our dedicated cleaning team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and comfort across our hospitality environment. In this role, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensure high standards of sanitation, and motivate your team to maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Conduct regular inspections to verify cleanliness standards are met and identify areas for improvement
- Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and maintenance
- Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and high-quality service among staff members
- Address guest requests or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, staff attendance, and maintenance issues
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and standards
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in hospitality or industrial cleaning environments preferred
- Knowledge of various cleaning methods including industrial cleaning equipment and eco-friendly products
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills to lead teams and interact with guests professionally
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during shifts
- Familiarity with safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment
