Duties
- Prepare and produce a variety of ice cream flavors while adhering to recipes and quality standards.
- Operate ice cream machines and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the production area, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Assist customers in selecting flavors, providing recommendations, and upselling additional products.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, including processing payments and giving change.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food handling environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a rapid-paced setting.
- Ability to sanitize work areas properly and adhere to food safety standards.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Experience with upselling techniques is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
