ISO Quality Management System Lead (Contract Position)

EnReach Hot Tap Services Inc. is a specialized service provider offering hot tapping, line stopping, pipeline isolation, engineering, and related services to the Western Canadian oil and gas industry.

We currently operate under an established ABSA Quality Control Program and are seeking an experienced ISO Quality Management System Consultant to develop and implement an ISO 9001-compliant Quality Management System (QMS) that builds upon and integrates with our existing ABSA program.

This is a contract position focused on developing a practical, efficient, and sustainable quality management system that supports our operations and prepares EnReach for ISO 9001 certification.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with demonstrated experience developing and implementing ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, preferably within the oil and gas, manufacturing, engineering, or industrial services sectors.

The successful candidate will work closely with EnReach's management, engineering, quality, and operations teams to develop a system that meets ISO requirements without creating unnecessary administrative complexity.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct a gap assessment of EnReach's existing ABSA Quality Control Program against ISO 9001 requirements.
- Develop and implement an ISO 9001-compliant Quality Management System that complements and integrates with our existing ABSA program.
- Review and update existing quality manuals, procedures, forms, and processes where required.
- Develop additional policies, procedures, and documentation necessary to achieve ISO 9001 compliance.
- Establish processes for document control, records management, corrective actions,



risk management, internal audits, and continual improvement.
- Work with management and employees to integrate quality processes into day-to-day operations.
- Develop practical tools and processes to ensure ongoing compliance without unnecessary administrative burden.
- Provide training to employees on ISO requirements and newly implemented procedures.
- Establish and implement an internal audit program.
- Assist with management reviews and corrective action processes.
- Coordinate certification readiness activities and support EnReach through the ISO 9001 certification audit.
- Ensure the system can be effectively maintained by EnReach personnel following completion of the contract.

Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated experience successfully developing and implementing ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 requirements and certification processes.
- Experience with ABSA Quality Control Programs and Alberta pressure equipment regulatory requirements is a strong asset.
- Familiarity with ASME, CSA, and applicable oil and gas industry standards is an asset.
- Experience integrating multiple quality management or regulatory compliance systems.
- Strong technical writing, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and electronic document management systems.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with management and operational personnel.




- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification is considered an asset.
- Previous experience guiding an organization through ISO 9001 certification is strongly preferred.

Project Deliverables The successful contractor will be responsible for delivering:
- A completed ISO 9001 gap assessment and implementation plan.
- A fully developed and documented ISO 9001 Quality Management System integrated with EnReach's existing ABSA program.
- All necessary procedures, forms, registers, and supporting documentation.
- Employee training and implementation support.
- Completed internal audits and management review preparation.
- A certification-ready QMS and support through the initial external certification audit.
- A practical transition plan allowing EnReach personnel to maintain the system independently.

Contract Details This is a project-based contract position with the primary objective of developing, implementing, and preparing EnReach's Quality Management System for ISO 9001 certification.

The contract duration, compensation, and work arrangements will be discussed based on the candidate's experience and proposed implementation approach.

We are open to proposals from qualified independent consultants or professionals with relevant experience.
