Overview

We are looking for an IT Technician to handle day-to-day desktop support, network maintenance, and office tech infrastructure. In this role, you’ll be the primary point of contact for troubleshooting user issues, fixing PC and printer hardware, maintaining local network connectivity, and helping keep our workplace hardware running smoothly.

If you enjoy hands-on troubleshooting and helping people solve technical headaches, this role is a great fit. Prior experience with hardware repairs or physical security systems is a plus, but not strictly required—we are happy to provide hands-on training for the right candidate.

Duties

- Provide day-to-day technical support for Windows, macOS, and Linux laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
- Perform hands-on hardware repairs and component replacements for PCs and printers (e.g., swapping power supplies, RAM, storage, print rollers, fusers, and maintenance kits).
- Troubleshoot local network connections (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPNs) and assist with basic firewall and router configurations.
- Help monitor and maintain physical security equipment, such as office security cameras and alarm system hardware.
- Support end-users with operating system errors, software glitches, and daily productivity applications (Microsoft 365, internal tools, etc.).
- Log, track, and resolve IT requests using ticketing software (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy).
- Set up, image,

and configure hardware for current employee onboarding and system refreshes.
- Work with the broader IT team on network maintenance, equipment upgrades, and infrastructure projects.

Skills

- Hardware & Repairs: Basic understanding of desktop, laptop, and printer components. Hands-on experience is preferred.
- OS & Software: Good troubleshooting skills across Windows, macOS, or Linux environments, along with common office applications.
- Networking Basics: Familiarity with TCP/IP, subnets, LAN setup, VPNs, and basic firewall rules.
- Ticketing & Process: Exposure to helpdesk tools (Jira, ServiceNow, BMC Remedy) is helpful, but easy to learn on the job.
- Problem-Solving & Communication: Clear, patient communication style when helping non-technical staff work through technical problems.
- Bonus / Asset: Basic familiarity with office physical security systems (IP cameras/CCTV and alarm hardware). Training will be provided for hardware maintenance and basic camera/alarm setup.

Embark on an exciting journey as an IT Technician where your expertise fuels productivity! We’re committed to fostering a supportive environment that values your skills while offering opportunities for growth in the ever-evolving tech landscape. Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
