Western Fine Meats is looking for an energetic and motivated Junior Sales & Social Media Representative to help grow our donair and shawarma business throughout Western Canada.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in sales and grow with our company. Extensive sales experience is not required. We are more interested in the right attitude, personality, work ethic and willingness to learn. The successful candidate will report directly to the CEO and receive hands-on training and mentorship.

This hybrid position combines work from home, work from our office and customer visits. The initial focus is Calgary, Edmonton and surrounding communities, with opportunities to develop new business throughout Western Canada, including Vancouver and British Columbia. Occasional travel throughout Western Canada will be required as the territory develops.

Responsibilities

- Prospect and develop new business throughout Western Canada.
- Make outbound sales calls and follow up with prospective customers by phone, email and text.
- Build relationships with restaurants, donair and shawarma operators, independent food businesses and food-service customers.
- Maintain an organized sales pipeline and follow up consistently on opportunities.
- Assist with quotes, product information and customer follow-up.
- Travel as required to meet customers and develop new markets.
- Help develop Western Fine Meats’ presence on Instagram, TikTok,



Facebook and other social-media platforms.
- Create engaging product photos, short videos, promotions and customer features.
- Use social media to build brand awareness, generate leads and support sales growth.

- Willing to learn our products and the food-service industry.

Previous experience in food service, restaurants, the meat industry or wholesale distribution is an asset but is not required. Familiarity with the donair and shawarma business is strongly preferred. Experience working in a donair or shawarma restaurant or related food-service business would be considered a strong asset. A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle are required.
