We're looking for a creative, enthusiastic and energetic Kids Art Instructor to join our team at Tiny Hands Club in Langley!
We're developing an exciting instructor-led art program for children in K - grade 7, focusing on drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media and creative expression.
What You'll Do:
- Plan and lead fun, engaging art lessons for children ages 5–8. (focus group)
- Teach a variety of artistic skills, including drawing, painting, sculpture and mixed media.
- Develop age-appropriate projects that encourage creativity and skill development.
- Incorporate interactive, movement-based art activities and collaborative projects.
- Prepare art materials, organize supplies and maintain a welcoming studio setting.
- Create a positive, encouraging atmosphere where young artists can thrive
Who We're Looking For:
- Someone creative, patient, energetic and passionate about working with children.
- Experience teaching art, leading children's workshops or working in an educational setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to confidently lead structured, instructor-led lessons.
- Background in fine arts, education or children's programming is an asset.
