We are seeking an Insurance Defence Law Clerk to join our firm.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of recent and relevant insurance defence litigation experience and understand how to move files forward. Both Accident Benefits and tort experience are beneficial.
This position requires a robust command of the English language, the ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision and meet deadlines in a busy environment. The aptitude to develop and maintain a professional rapport with our clients is imperative along with an understanding of the importance of protocols set out by them.
The candidate will have a strong knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure and statutes along with a Law Clerk Diploma or Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario Certificate (or equivalent). Knowledge of Primafact,
ACL and GhostPractice are assets.
