Line Cook

We're looking for lines cooks to join for the opening of our new Agora Yorkville team! Looking for full time availability, with a range in hours of 35-40 hours per week. Must be available to work weekends, holidays, mornings and evenings.

Location: 105 Scollard St.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Area Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

- Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow colleagues
- Ensure all food is prepared according to company specifications
- Ensure all orders are completed accurately
- Ability to work multiple stations on a kitchen line
- Help coordinate production as it relates to restaurant and catering functions
- Maintain proper rotation of product in all chillers to minimize wastage/spoilage
- Ensure storeroom requisitions are accurate
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- Schedule: Mornings,



Afternoons, Evenings, Weekends, Holidays
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in the Culinary field required (3-4 years minimum)
- Solid interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
