Koffie is looking for motivated individual to join our team as LIne Cook for our breakfast and lunch service. Located in the downtown business district, this position is for mornings, 7am-2:30pm, approximately 30 hrs/wk, including one weekend shift. We are a small, independent, 17 seat cafe (non-ventilated kitchen)and pride ourselves on providing our customers with consistently good food and service.
We're looking for someone who has experience as a line cook, is organized and reliable, who works well under pressure and who is interested in taking on additional responsibilities including administrative roles. Pay range is $21-$24/hr depending on experience. Tips are shared equally among all staff.
Duties Include
- Working the line during service
- Keeping the line stocked and managing prep
- Following standardized recipes
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
- Cleaning and dishwashing — shared responsibility
- Communicating clearly and professionally and helping to maintain a respectful working setting
