Duties

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and following recipes to ensure quality and consistency
- Cook menu items efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment to promote a safe food handling environment
- Support the serving staff by preparing dishes promptly for timely delivery to customers
- Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure all dishes, glasses, and utensils are sanitized and ready for use
- Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper storage and handling of ingredients




- Contribute to a positive team setting by communicating effectively with colleagues and management

Requirements

- Prior experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or the food industry is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, safety standards, and meal preparation techniques
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm
- Strong attention to detail in food presentation and cleanliness standards
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward supporting kitchen operations
- Basic understanding of serving practices and cooking methods is advantageous
