Job OverviewRequirements

- Candidates must be able to speak and comprehend English fluently
- Must be bondable.
- Must have a Food Handling Certificate
- A City of Winnipeg Police Service current police record and vulnerable sector check is required prior to hire date.
- Emergency First Aid is also mandatory within six months of employment
- Candidates must be able to and continue to be available to work on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Complete ability to communicate with co-workers and residents in a professional manner.
- A minimum of 3 years food handling/preparation experience

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards




- Assist in all areas of food preparation as needed- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operationsQualifications:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Passion for cooking and creating culinary delights
- Understanding of food industry standards and regulations
- Experience in a restaurant setting- Proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Familiarity with various cooking methods
