Crave Catering & Events is hiring two Line / Prep Cooks to join our Red Seal chef-led kitchen in East Vancouver. For over eight years we've catered for offices, film and TV productions, schools, and events from boardrooms to ballrooms, for clients like UBC, SFU, Telus and BC Hydro. We cook with premium, locally sourced ingredients, and we take pride in food that shows up on time, every time.

Our kitchen runs on two rhythms: daytime production for corporate lunches during the week, and evening and weekend cooking for events. We're looking for cooks who are available for both day and evening shifts.

Hours: most shifts fall between 6 AM and 10 PM. A few times a month, breakfast orders mean a 4:30 AM start, and some events run until midnight. Shifts are scheduled in advance.

What you'll do - Prep and batch-cook hot meals, salads, sandwiches, canapés and boxed lunches from our recipes - Follow daily production sheets so every order goes out complete and on time - Portion, label and pack orders for delivery - Cook for evening and weekend events (buffets, stations, canapés), in our kitchen and on site with our event team - Keep your station clean and follow food safety and allergen procedures What we're looking for - 1 year of kitchen experience (catering, restaurant, hotel or institutional) - Available for both day and evening shifts,



including some weekends - Strong knife skills and the ability to follow recipes and prep lists accurately - Reliable and on time.
