LPN & Health Care Curriculum Developer

Cornerstone International Community College of Canada is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and Health Care Curriculum Developer to design, review and update healthcare education and training materials.

The successful candidate will combine practical nursing knowledge with curriculum development experience to create relevant, engaging and competency-based learning resources.

Responsibilities

- Develop and revise Health Care Assistant, senior care, personal care and related healthcare training curricula.
- Prepare course outlines, lesson plans, presentations, assignments, examinations and practical skills assessments.
- Align relevant curriculum materials with applicable British Columbia healthcare education standards and learning outcomes.
- Develop competency-based assessments, grading rubrics and instructional resources.
- Incorporate topics such as anatomy and physiology, infection prevention, dementia care, mobility assistance, patient safety, ethics and communication.
- Collaborate with instructors,



administrators and subject matter experts.
- Support curriculum documentation, program reviews and quality assurance.
- Review student and instructor feedback and recommend improvements.
- Maintain accurate curriculum records and version control.

Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in Practical Nursing, Nursing or a related healthcare discipline.
- Current BCCNM registration where the duties require practice as an LPN.
- Preferably three or more years of relevant clinical nursing experience.
- Experience with healthcare curriculum development, instructional design or adult education.
- Knowledge of healthcare training requirements and practices in British Columbia.
- Strong writing, research, communication and organizational skills.

Preferred:

- Provincial Instructor Diploma Program (PIDP) or equivalent adult education training.
- Experience developing HCA, senior care or allied healthcare programs.
- Experience using learning management systems and developing online instruction.
