A little about the role

We're growing — and with growth comes a lot of moving pieces.

As Vantage Ag continues to expand across North America, we're looking for someone who can bring structure to the day-to-day, keep things running smoothly and help us build the right processes for what's next.

We're looking for a Manager, Customer & Business Operations who loves getting into the details, solving problems and making things work better.

This is a hands-on role. You'll be the person managing the day-to-day customer operations and order administration function — working closely with Sales, Operations, Inventory, Finance and our logistic partners.

You'll be rolling up your sleeves, managing orders, helping customers and making sure the important details don't get missed.

And while you'll start as a team of one, you won't stay that way forever. As we grow, you'll have the opportunity to help build the function and lead a coordinator supporting the day-to-day operations.

It's a little bit of everything — which is exactly the point.

How you'll add value

Own the order management process

- Manage the day-to-day administration of customer orders across Canada and the U.S. for Crop Nutrition and Chemical products.
- Enter and process orders in Tronia, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-through.
- Prepare and coordinate invoices, shipping documents and transportation paperwork.
- Maintain accurate dealer and customer information.
- Oversee the administrative side of our Pre-Buy program, keeping commitments, customer details and key deadlines organized.
- Work closely with Sales, Operations, Inventory and warehouse partners to help keep orders moving.
- Track order status, shipment updates, approvals and outstanding follow-ups.

- Understand the different requirements associated with Canadian and U.S. customers and our different product categories.

Create a great customer experience

- Be a reliable point of contact for customers and dealers who need information, answers or support.
- Help resolve order discrepancies, shipment questions and other customer issues.
- Coordinate returns and the documentation required to support them.
- Work across internal teams to make sure customer needs are addressed and nothing falls through the cracks.

Build better ways of working

- Take ownership of keeping order administration and customer operations organized, accurate and consistent.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve workflows and reduce manual work.
- Help establish documentation, procedures and best practices as the business scales.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure approvals and information flow smoothly between teams.
- Bring ideas forward. We're growing, and there's plenty of opportunity to make things better.

Help build the team

- Initially manage the function as a hands-on individual contributor.
- As the business grows, support the onboarding, training and development of a future coordinator.
- Establish clear processes and expectations that support a growing team.

You'll probably love this role if you…

- Love organization,

details and getting things done.
- Have a natural ability to see the bigger picture while keeping track of the little things.
- Enjoy helping customers and solving problems.
- Are comfortable jumping between different priorities and responsibilities.
- Don't need a big team or layers of structure to make an impact.
- Like improving processes rather than just following them.
- Are excited about building something as a company grows.

What you bring We care more about how you work than checking every box, but ideally you bring:

- 5+ years of experience in customer operations, order management, business administration or a related operational role.
- Experience independently managing a process or functional area.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence working with Excel, spreadsheets and business systems.
- An ability to troubleshoot issues, manage priorities and improve workflows.
- Outstanding communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Experience in agriculture, crop inputs or a related industry would be an asset.
- Experience with Tronia would be a bonus.
- Previous people leadership experience is welcome, but isn't essential.

The bigger picture We're building something at Vantage Ag, and this is an opportunity to be part of it early.

You'll have the chance to take ownership of an important part of our business, influence how we operate and help shape the team as we grow.

We're looking for someone who enjoys doing the work just as much as figuring out how to make the work better.

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
