Skabbard is looking for a savvy Marketing & Promotions Coordinator to amplify our brand, boost engagement, and grow awareness among snowboarders, ski communities, and outdoor retailers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute a dynamic marketing and PR strategy highlighting Skabbard’s unique design, durability, and origin story.
- Write engaging press releases, blog posts, and newsletters featuring product features, founder stories, and customer testimonials.
- Curate and post on social channels (Instagram + LinkedIn), sharing product performance images and brand messaging.
- Identify and secure earned media opportunities, including (not limited to) outdoor gear blogs, snowboarding magazines, and lifestyle/ sports podcasts.
- Collaborate on campaigns,



including seasonal launches, influencer partnerships, and cross-promotions with complimentary brands.
- Track performance metrics—reach, engagement, media mentions—and refine tactics accordingly.
- Sales Events: organise pop-up sales (one day markets, exhibitions etc) - research, register, attend.

What You’ll Bring:

- A feel for snowboarding/outdoor culture—or passion to learn quickly—and ability to craft skater-lifestyle messaging.
- Proven expertise in launching PR/media campaigns for consumer-focused brands.
- A portfolio with content samples: articles, social posts, media placements.

Compensation & Details:

- Contract: Part time (5–15 hrs/week).
- Location: Remote (PST- preferred).
- Pay: Competitive hourly rate (negotiable based on experience).
