Overview

As a Busser, you play a vital role in supporting our Servers and ensuring guests enjoy seamless service throughout their theatre experience. From maintaining spotless tables to anticipating guest needs, you help create a welcoming and efficient dining environment that reflects our commitment to quality and hospitality.

What You’ll Do

- Clear dishes, glassware, and silverware from assigned tables promptly and efficiently.
- Assist Servers with beverage delivery and table setup.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of service sections and dining areas.
- Anticipate and respond to guest needs, especially during intermissions.
- Complete assigned side duties and follow daily checklists.
- Minimize waste and breakage to support profitability.
- Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and supervisors.
- Handle guest concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Demonstrate teamwork by assisting co-workers as needed.
- Project a positive image of SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts at all times.

What You Bring

- 1 year of Food & Beverage outlet experience required; theatre or banquet service experience is an asset.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- ProServe certification required
- Food Secure certifications an asset
- Strong teamwork, communication, and guest service skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Working Conditions

- Frequent walking, standing, lifting, and carrying.
- Ability to push, pull, and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Must be adaptable to a fast-paced,



high-volume environment.
