We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to assist us in preparing our students in workplace math in order to prepare for the Water and Wastewater certification exams. Curriculum, worksheets and quizzes are prepared and will be delivered over a 2 day period ahead of the certification exam preparation course. All courses held in Saskatoon in a professional facility.

Duties
- Provide engaging lessons that cover various mathematical topics, including Order of Operations, solving for unknown terms, area and volume calculations, using calculations provided
- Deliver and implement lessons aligned with already developed courses and tailored to diverse student needs
- Assess student progress through worksheets, tests, and dialogue,
providing constructive feedback to promote growth
- Support students with special education needs by adapting instructional strategies and materials accordingly
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation, curiosity, and collaboration
Skills
- Proven experience in tutoring or classroom teaching of mathematics at high school level
- Robust knowledge of math principles, teaching methodologies, and educational best practices
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey complex ideas and engage students effectively
- Ability to adapt instruction for students with diverse learning styles and special education requirements
- Passion for inspiring students and fostering a lifelong interest in mathematics
Pay: $65.00-$75.00 per hour
