Role Description We are seeking a driven Mobile Application Developer with experience in React Native, application security, database management, and system scalability to join our team on a part-time, remote basis.

In this role, you will help enhance, maintain, secure, and scale the Nextime Social mobile application across iOS and Android. You will be responsible for implementing new features, improving existing functionality, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring a smooth, responsive, and reliable user experience.

Beyond mobile development, you will contribute to strengthening our application's security, optimizing database performance, and improving the underlying systems to support a growing user base. You will collaborate with our development, product, and design teams while contributing to technical decisions that influence the platform's long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Mobile Application Development: Develop, maintain, and enhance the Nextime Social app using React Native, ensuring compatibility and a consistent experience across iOS and Android.
- Application Security: Identify potential vulnerabilities, implement secure coding practices, and help protect user accounts, sensitive information, and application data.
- Database Management: Maintain, optimize,



and troubleshoot databases to ensure data integrity, efficient queries, and reliable performance.
- System Architecture &

• Scalability:

Help optimize application architecture and backend services to accommodate increasing users, traffic, and data.
- API &

• Backend Integration:

Integrate RESTful APIs, JSON-based data, and backend services to support application features and functionality.
- Performance Optimization: Diagnose and resolve bugs, improve loading times, reduce crashes, and ensure application stability.
- Testing &

• Quality Assurance:

Test new features, troubleshoot platform-specific issues, and contribute to reliable releases across supported devices.
- Code Quality &

• Collaboration:

Write clean, maintainable code, participate in code reviews, use Git for version control, and collaborate with teammates on development milestones.
- Technical Problem-Solving: Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute ideas that strengthen the product's functionality, security, and long-term reliability.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications

- Strong experience in mobile application development, preferably with production-quality applications.
- Hands-on experience with React Native and cross-platform mobile development.
- Experience developing, testing, or deploying applications for both iOS and Android.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and software engineering best practices.
- Knowledge of application security, secure coding, vulnerability prevention, and data protection.
- Experience working with databases, including database design, querying, maintenance, and optimization.
- Understanding of system architecture, backend infrastructure, performance optimization, and scalability.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs, JSON, and backend services.
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development workflows.
- Strong debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, communicate effectively, and meet agreed deadlines.
- A proactive, accountable, and adaptable mindset with the drive to contribute to a fast-growing startup.

Preferred Qualifications





- Experience with native iOS development using Swift or Objective-C and relevant frameworks.
- Experience with native Android development or platform-specific debugging and optimization.
- Familiarity with backend technologies, cloud infrastructure, deployment workflows, and monitoring tools.
- Experience securing applications that handle user accounts, personal information, or other sensitive data.
- Experience working on social networking, event planning, lifestyle, or other consumer-facing applications.
- Understanding of UI/UX best practices and how technical decisions affect the user experience.
