Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Monitoring Guard to uphold the safety and security of our premises. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing surveillance systems, monitoring activity through CCTV cameras, and ensuring loss prevention measures are effectively implemented. Your keen eye and quick response will help maintain a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets.

Responsibilities

- Continuously monitor surveillance footage using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to verify security measures and identify potential vulnerabilities
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, assessing situations and coordinating with emergency responders when necessary
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, and contractors
- Maintain detailed logs of surveillance activities, incidents, and security checks in accordance with company protocols




- Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting findings immediately
- Collaborate with law enforcement or security teams during investigations or emergencies to ensure swift resolution

Qualifications

- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or surveillance roles is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, video monitoring techniques, and surveillance best practices
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining professionalism under pressure
- Excellent observational skills with a keen eye for detail to identify irregularities or suspicious behavior
- Valuable communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately
- Ability to follow established procedures diligently and respond effectively in emergency situations
