Shifts: Night-Shift Dispatcher

This position is responsible for being the liaison between the customers and the drivers to ensure pickups and drop-offs are done in a timely fashion and customer inquiries are handled professionally and accurately.

Responsibilities

-Communicate with drivers to ensure all pickups and deliveries are done in a timely fashion and handle any of their issues or problems causing delays.

Update Events in system and notify customers at the same time.

· Make yard list (List of trucks and trailers)

· Track reefers temp and Fuel level (3 times in a shift)

· Follow up on Pickup’s and deliveries, Transparent Customs, Make manifests.

· Arrange service for Breakdowns after communicating with Maintenance department.

· Must complete the work assigned by day dispatchers and leave proper notes for the next shift.

-Other duties as assigned by the Manager

Night-Shift Dispatcher

This role is responsible for serving as the primary liaison between customers and drivers, ensuring that all pickups and drop-offs are executed efficiently and punctually,



and that all customer inquiries are addressed professionally and accurately.

Responsibilities:

● Communicate with drivers to ensure the timely completion of all pickups and deliveries, and to resolve any issues or delays they may encounter.

● Update system events and simultaneously notify the relevant customers.

● Generate the daily yard list, detailing all trucks and trailers.

● Monitor and record reefer temperatures and fuel levels three times per shift.

● Conduct follow-ups on all pickups and deliveries, ensure customs clearance, and prepare necessary manifests.

● Coordinate service arrangements for vehicle breakdowns in consultation with the Maintenance department.

● Complete all assignments given by day dispatchers and maintain thorough handover notes for the succeeding shift.

● Perform other duties as directed by the Manager.
