Duties
- Develop and deliver engaging online lessons tailored to students’ individual needs and learning styles
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to organize course materials, track student progress, and communicate effectively with learners and parents
- Provide clear explanations of concepts in subjects such as math and early childhood education, ensuring comprehension for diverse learners
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assignments, and assessments within digital platforms
- Proofread and review educational content for clarity, accuracy, and appropriateness before sharing with students
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate students with special education needs, ensuring an inclusive learning environment
Skills
- Strong background in Ontrario High school curriculum
- Proven classroom experience or online teaching experience that demonstrates effective instructional skills
- Expertise in teaching ESL
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey information and foster positive student interactions
- Proficiency with LMS platforms for course management, grading, and communication purposes-Moodle
- Ability to proofread educational materials for accuracy and clarity
- Experience in providing personalized academic support in a virtual setting
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
