We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Overnight House Person to join our hospitality team. In this vital role, you will ensure the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of the hotel during nighttime hours. Your proactive approach will help create a welcoming workplace for guests and maintain high standards of cleanliness and maintenance throughout the property.

Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of hallways, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using industry-standard cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns and report them promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as lobbies, stairwells, restrooms, and laundry facilities to ensure they meet hotel standards
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and public spaces, including toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials
- Assist with industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, including deep cleaning projects or specialized custodial duties
- Monitor security systems and conduct periodic patrols to ensure the safety of guests and staff during overnight hours
- Follow all safety procedures and hotel policies to uphold a secure and hygienic environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality roles—hotel experience is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, industrial cleaning equipment, and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift heavy items as needed
- Good communication skills for reporting maintenance issues or safety concerns effectively
- Prior experience in hospitality or custodial services is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
