Gummy Gainz | Marine Gateway area, Vancouver | $35–$55/hour

Gummy Gainz makes protein gummies for active kids and adults. We’re looking for a hands-on food formulator to help improve our existing recipes, develop recent flavours, and support consistent production as we grow.

You’ll work directly with our founder and production team, running small test batches and bringing successful formulations onto our gummy production line.

What you’ll do

Improve texture, flavour, protein incorporation, and product stability.

Troubleshoot thickness, depositing, sticking, and setting issues.

Develop new flavours, including options using real fruit concentrates.

Plan and run trials, keeping clear records of recipes, processing conditions, and results.

Help establish repeatable production procedures for mixing, temperatures, ingredient order, and holding times.

Evaluate ingredients with quality, cost, and availability in mind.

Support shelf-life testing and production scale-up.

What we’re looking for





Practical experience in food formulation or product development.

Experience with gummies, confectionery, gelatin, or protein products is strongly preferred.

Food science, food technology, chemistry, or related education or equivalent industry experience.

Someone comfortable working hands-on with ingredients and production equipment.

Strong problem-solving and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently and alongside a small team.

Location: On-site at our production facility in the Marine Gateway area of Vancouver.

Schedule: Part-time, as needed. Hours vary with projects and production trials, with scheduling arranged in advance.

Pay: $35–$55 per hour CAD, depending on relevant experience.

Pay: $35.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 – 20.0 per week
