Yellowhead Pioneer Residence Society has an opening for an BC Registered Healthcare Assistance in a Part-Time Temporary Day shifts Position. Job responsibilities include assisting tenants with daily living tasks, meal service, medication reminders, bath, shower and housekeeping. Employee requirements: current Health Care Aide certification, Registered with BC Care aide Registry, Level 1 first aid, Criminal Record Check (upon hiring) and WHIMIS can be done upon hire.
This part time position follows a repeating 13 week rotation master schedule. Applicants must be available work the shifts outlined in the rotation, including weekends. The Part-Time Temporary line typically consists of:
- 10 weeks:
Thursday and Fridays shifts (4-5 hours per shift), plus Saturday and Sunday shifts (8hours per shift).
- 3 weeks: Thursday and Friday shifts (4-5hours per shift).
- Total: 278 hours per 13 week rotation
