Plaza Auto Group’s Orillia Volkswagen location is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team. This role supports our customers, technicians, and service department by ensuring they receive the right parts, accurate information, and timely assistance.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist retail and wholesale customers, service advisors, and technicians with parts and accessory inquiries in person, by telephone, and electronically.
- Identify correct parts using vehicle information, electronic parts catalogues, and manufacturer resources.
- Provide accurate pricing, availability, and delivery estimates.
- Recommend appropriate parts, accessories,



and related products based on customer needs.
- Order stock and special-order parts, track outstanding orders, and communicate updates.
- Supply technicians with required parts promptly to support efficient repairs.
- Prepare accurate parts invoices, repair-order entries, returns, and credits.
- Receive and verify shipments, report discrepancies, and organize inventory.
- Prepare orders for pickup, shipment, or delivery.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records.
- Keep parts storage and counter areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Develop product knowledge and follow dealership and manufacturer procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

- Previous automotive parts experience preferred, particularly within a dealership.
- Volkswagen or other European automotive brand experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories, with the ability to learn electronic parts catalogues.
- Solid customer service and communication skills.
- Computer proficiency; dealership management system experience is an asset.
- Attention to detail when identifying parts and processing transactions.
- Ability to prioritize requests and work effectively in a busy environment.
- A dependable, collaborative approach and willingness to learn.
- Ability to safely perform the physical duties associated with receiving, stocking, and handling parts, with accommodation as required.
