Casa de Nata is hiring!
We’re looking for & Café Assistant to join our small team in Vancouver for 30-35+ hours/week.
We’re looking for someone who has some pastry or bakery experience, enjoys working with their hands, and is also comfortable helping customers when needed.
The role will include
- Shaping and pressing pastry
- Preparing custards and assisting with baking
- General pastry production and kitchen prep
- Cleaning and keeping the workspace organized
- Helping at the front counter and providing friendly customer service when needed
We’d love someone who is reliable, efficient, positive and easy to work with. You don’t need to be a pastry chef, but some previous bakery, pastry or skilled kitchen experience is important. Approximately 30–35+ hours per week, with a mix of daytime and evening shifts.
We’re a busy, growing Portuguese bakery specializing in pastéis de nata, and we’re looking for someone who would like to become a consistent part of our team.
