Overview

We are seeking a licensed, patient-focused Pharmacist to join our team at our Richmond Hill location for two days per week. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking for part time work, with the potential for additional hours as we expand into new locations in Richmond Hill and Newmarket.

The ideal candidate is qualified, dependable, and committed to providing quality patient care while working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Review, verify, and dispense prescriptions accurately and safely.
- Counsel patients on medications, proper usage, side effects, and potential drug interactions.
- Assess prescriptions for appropriateness and medication safety.
- Answer medication-related questions and provide patient education.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and dispensing documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Ontario College of Pharmacists standards and applicable legislation.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all privacy requirements.
- Provide professional, courteous,



and patient-centred service.

Experience and Qualifications
- Must be licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP).
- Pharmacy degree from an accredited or recognized institution.
- Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
- Robust knowledge of prescription dispensing, medication safety, and pharmaceutical care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Professional, reliable, and committed to high-quality patient care.
- Availability to work two days per week, with an interest in potentially increasing hours as current locations open.
