Newhook Trenching Ltd. is a busy and reputable shallow utility construction company with steady, year-round work. We need a picker truck driver to move construction materials between our vendors, our yard and our various jobs sites in and around Calgary. Class 3 DL required.

The ideal candidate:
- Works independently and efficiently.
- Has a clean driving record.
- Is familiar with Calgary and area and is comfortable navigating in areas with which they are not familiar.
- Is experienced operating a knuckle boom picker crane.
- Can operate forklifts and skid steers with fork attachment to self-load.
- Is proficient at securing loads of all types on a flat deck.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy trucks or similar vehicles in a commercial setting.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily duties.
- Class 3 commercial DL
- Strong understanding of driving safety procedures and traffic laws.
- Excellent physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift, and maneuver heavy objects regularly.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report any concerns promptly.
