Job Overview:

As a Picker/Packer at our health food restaurant, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, assembling, and packing ingredients, meals, and customer orders for dine-in, takeout, delivery, and catering services. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen setting, ensuring that every order is complete, properly portioned, and packaged with care.

Responsibilities:

Order Selection & Assembly:

- Accurately select and assemble ingredients, prepared foods, and beverages according to order specifications.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
- Verify that all order modifications and dietary restrictions (gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, etc.) are correctly applied.

Packing & Presentation:
- Pack orders neatly and securely using appropriate containers, lids, and packaging materials.
- Ensure that hot items and cold items are properly separated and insulated when necessary.





Quality Control & Inspection:
- Inspect all ingredients and prepared foods for freshness, quality, and proper temperature before packing.
- Check for visual appeal, proper portion sizes, and correct garnishes.
- Ensure that expiration dates on packaged items (juices, snacks, etc.) are current.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.

Basic computer skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $21.78-$25.76 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
