We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant food service team! Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, toppings, sauces, and other ingredients following established recipes and food safety guidelines
- Cook pizzas to perfection using ovens, grills, or other kitchen equipment while maintaining consistent quality
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling menu items
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with sanitation standards to promote a safe dining environment
- Serve customers efficiently by managing orders accurately and maintaining a clean workstation during busy hours
- Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies,
notifying management of shortages or issues
- Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen area by following proper cleaning routines and safety protocols
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments with a focus on meal preparation and cooking
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent skills in serving customers with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Knowledge of pizza-making processes, including dough preparation, toppings, baking times, and presentation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, knives, and sanitation tools
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and ensure smooth operations
