Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients with precision and care
- Cook pizzas to perfection using commercial ovens, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling orders
- Serve customers efficiently by managing orders at the kitchen station and supporting the front-of-house team when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning equipment and utensils regularly
- Support the overall food service process by adhering to restaurant protocols and contributing to a positive team environment
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or fast-food environment is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn!
- Experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices is highly desirable
- Familiarity with kitchen safety standards and food industry regulations will help you succeed in this role
- Prior experience in meal preparation or working in a busy kitchen environment is a plus
- Strong understanding of food safety principles ensures safe handling of ingredients and cooked products
