McHattie Mechanical is looking for an experienced, hands-on Site Foreman to lead crews and manage day-to-day site operations on projects throughout the Lower Mainland and other locations across BC.

We’re looking for someone who has successfully run jobs and crews, can plan ahead, and takes ownership of quality, productivity, and safety. You should be comfortable making site decisions independently while keeping clear communication with company management.

Responsibilities

- Lead and organize journeypersons and apprentices.
- Plan daily work, manpower, materials, and upcoming project requirements.
- Read drawings, coordinate layouts, and identify issues before they delay installation.
- Coordinate with site superintendents, other trades, and subcontractors.
- Maintain workmanship and safety standards while keeping the project on schedule.
- Work alongside the crew and provide guidance and mentorship.
- Communicate progress, site issues, and material requirements to management.

Qualifications

- Journeyperson plumbing certification.
- Proven experience running plumbing/mechanical jobs and supervising crews.
- Strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage site operations without constant supervision.
- Willingness to travel and work away from home on remote BC projects. Previous remote-project experience is an asset.
- Valid driver’s licence.

This is an opportunity to take a key leadership role in a growing mechanical contracting company and work directly with ownership. Please send your résumé and a brief description of the projects and crews you’ve led to [email protected]. Include your availability and any experience working on remote projects.
