We are seeking an experienced and initiative-taking Quality Manager to join our Aerospace Toronto team.

FTG Circuits is a manufacturer of high technology, high reliability printed circuit boards. Our customers are leaders in the aviation, defense, and high technology industries. FTG Circuits has operations in Toronto, Ontario, Chatsworth, California, Fredericksburg, Virginia, Minnetonka, Minnesota, Haverhill, Massachusetts and a joint venture in Tianjin, China.

FTG Aerospace designs, certifies, manufactures, and provides in-service support for illuminated cockpit products and electronic assemblies for original equipment manufacturers and operators of aerospace and defense equipment. FTG Aerospace has operations in Toronto, Ontario, Calgary, Alberta, Chatsworth, California and Tianjin, China.

Job Summary

As Quality Manager, you will provide leadership and direction to the quality team by developing, managing, and continuously improving the ISO 9000/AS 9100 Quality Systems.

Duties

- Manage personnel within the Quality Department
- Ensure compliance and integrity of the Quality Systems




- Provide timely and accurate identification of non-conformances through the Quality Systems
- Develop relationships with customers and suppliers to resolve issues and enhance quality
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators
- Maintain the ISO 9000/AS 9100 Audit Systems to the defined standards
- Oversee the internal and external auditing processes
- Participate in Design Review and establish quality planning procedures in accordance with Customer Requirements

Qualifications

- 5+ years’ experience as a Quality Manager
- Minimum of 5 years exposure within the electronics manufacturing industry
- Post-secondary education preferably in Quality or Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge of business improvement mechanisms (six sigma, lean, DOE, etc.)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
- In-depth understanding of the AS9100 standard
- CGP/ITAR clearance eligibility is mandatory

Pay: $90,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
